Note-taking, memory exercises, a little simul and more! Practice without pressure.
This hands-on workshop will allow participants to work on their note-taking skills by engaging in consecutive, and memory exercises. We will review note-taking techniques and strategies; cover the pitfalls of notetaking; review common legal terminology; practice consecutive interpretation without the pressure of being in court; and we’ll throw in a little simultaneous interpretation practice too—just for kicks and giggles.

ACJA Sec. 7-301: CEUs Are Here!
Beginning January 1, 2023, interpreters credentialed with the Arizona Court Interpreter Credentialing Program (ACICP) will be required to comply with continuing education requirements pursuant to the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration (ACJA) Section 7-301. This presentation will provide a detailed review of the new requirement and allow plenty of time for attendees to have their questions answered. Anyone who currently holds an ACICP credential for any tier, or who is planning to become credentialed is encouraged to attend.
